A crash involving four vehicles including a bus has closed part of the A90 near Edinburgh at rush hour.
Police confirmed three vehicles and a bus were involved in a collision at Crammond Brig around 4.30pm on Wednesday with the southbound carriageway closed.
The Scottish Ambulance Service also responded to the incident.
Drivers are being urged to use an alternative route with Lothian Buses also being diverted.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.30pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving three vehicles and a bus on the A90 Crammond Brig, Edinburgh.
“Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted.
“The southbound carriageway has been closed.”
A Lothian Buses notice read: “Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Rosebery Avenue, Station Road, Rosehill Terrance, Bankhead Road, Dalmeny Main Street, B924 and A90 and are instead diverted via B800, Kirkliston, Station Road, A89, Glasgow Road, Maybury Road citybound only until further notice.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
