Firefighters are at the scene of a large blaze at a terraced house in Edinburgh.
Crews were called out to the home on Seaview Terrace, in Portobello, at around 3.36pm on Friday.
Around 30 firefighters, in six appliances, arrived to a “well developed” dwelling blaze in a terraced house on the street.
It is currently unknown if anyone was injured as a result.
Two appliances remained at the scene as of 8pm on Friday.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.36pm on Friday, August 11, to reports of a dwelling fire on Seaview Terrace, Edinburgh.
“Operations Control mobilised six appliances to the scene, where they were met with a well-developed fire.
“Two appliances remain to make the area safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.45pm on Friday, August 11, police attended the Seaview Terrace area of Edinburgh, following a report of a fire.
“Officers are assisting Scottish Fire and Rescue Service colleagues at the scene.”
