An eight-year-old boy was struck by a bus during rush hour in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the capital’s Greendykes Road at around 5.15pm on Tuesday.
The child was placed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service. His current condition is unknown.
Officers confirmed that enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.15pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving an eight-year-old child pedestrian and a bus on Greendykes Road, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
