A road on the A720 has been closed following a two car collision.
Emergency services were called to the Westbound carriageway on the A720 Edinburgh Bypass on Thursday around 11.05am.
Transport Scotland confirmed that lane one of the Westbound carriageway had begun moving around 11.30am.
Drivers have been told to expect delays of approximately 15 minutes.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.05am on Thursday, October 26, police were called to a report of a two car road crash on the A720 Edinburgh Bypass westbound carriageway, near to Lothianburn.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is partially closed.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 11:12 to attend a two-car RTC on the A720 Westbound.
“One ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
