Eager revellers camped overnight outside a pub in Edinburgh in preparation for their St Patrick Day’s celebrations.
Bosses at Dropkick Murphys on Merchant Street in the capital were left speechless after the dedicated pubgoers slept in tents outside the venue on Saturday night.
Images shared by the Irish pub showed one blue tent and one pink tent situated at the entrance, which were discovered by the cleaners in the morning.
The pub wrote: “What greeted our cleaners this morning….please do not camp overnight outside dropkicks, just to be the first on St Patricks Day!
“Also there was no one else in the queue.”
The venue didn’t open until 12pm on Sunday, but staff offered out free sausage rolls to each devoted reveller in the queue as it began to build up in the morning.
