A driver was rushed to hospital after a one-vehicle crash on the A68.
Emergency services were called to the scene north of Jedburgh, between Bonjedward and the turn-off for Hawick, at around 6.35pm on Sunday.
A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
The crash resulted in lengthy delays as rescuers worked hard to clear the wreckage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.35pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022, officers were called to a report of a one vehicle crash on the A68 near Bonjedward.
“Emergency services attended, and a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital.
“Arrangements were made for the vehicle to be uplifted.”
