A car smashed into four parked vehicles and through a garden wall during a crash in Edinburgh in the early hours of the morning.
The driver and at least one passenger fled the scene after the car hit the stationary vehicles at high speed before flattening the wall surrounding a house in the Eastfield area shortly after 1.20am.
Police shut the road for several hours while a recovery operation was launched to retrieve the cars involved and clear debris from the route.
No one was thought to be injured and a probe has now been launched to trace those responsible.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25am on Saturday, February 25, police received a report a car had hit four stationary vehicles in Eastfield, Edinburgh.
“There do no appear to be any injuries and enquiries are ongoing to locate the occupants of the car after they ran off following the collision.”
