Dog walker who was reported missing found safe and well

A man who went missing while out walking his dogs in Edinburgh on Sunday morning has been found safe and well.

Police issued an appeal for information from the public after David Turner, 68, was reported missing after he was seen walking his two cocker spaniels in the Adamslaw Place area of the city at around 11.30am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “David Turner, 68, reported missing from the Adamslaw Place area of Edinburgh, has been traced safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal.”
