A dog has been rescued after falling into a gorge during a morning walk in Clackmannanshire.
Ochils Mountain Rescue Team dispatched a team to save the pup, named Hamish, following the incident in the Alva area.
Hamish’s owner called Police Scotland after the dog had gotten into trouble on their Friday morning walk.
Police contacted Ochils Mountain Rescue who deployed a team to help rescue the stricken pet.
A team member abseiled into the gorge to secure the dog and make him safe while others set up a rope rescue system.
The team managed to bring Hamish back up to safety, and confirmed in a social media post that he was “no worse off” after his morning adventure.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
