A cyclist is in hospital after two bikes collided on a road in Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called after two cyclists were involved in a collision on Piersfield Terrace, at around 10.40am on Saturday.

A woman was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh following the incident, and her condition is currently unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a collision between two cyclists on Piersfield Terrace in Edinburgh around 10.40am on Saturday, 19 February.

“A woman has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh following the incident.”
