A child has been rushed to hospital after reportedly taking a fall from a flat window in East Lothian.
The incident occurred at around 2pm on Tuesday, August 24, in the Lindores Drive area of Tranent.
Police said the child was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Their condition is currently unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 2pm on Thursday, August 24, to a report of a child falling in the Lindores Drive area of Tranent.
“Emergency services attended and the child was taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
