CCTV images have been released of a man wanted in connection with an assault on a city street.
The images have been released by police officers investigating the incident that took place on George Street, Edinburgh at around 3am on Wednesday, December 1.
The man is described as being around 5’8” with a slim build and short dark hair.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark baseball cap, grey shirt, white-t-shirt, dark trousers and white trainers.
Police say anyone who recognises the man, or who has any information about this incident, should contact them on 101.
