A primary school in Edinburgh has been evacuated after the bomb squad was called to the discovery of an item.
Police said officers were called to Bonaly Primary where what is believed to be “military antique” was found on Thursday.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were called and removed the item.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance at a school premises in the Bonaly Road area of Edinburgh following an item, believed to be an antique military piece, being found.
“The EOD were contacted to attend and have since removed the item.”
