A body has been found in the search for a man missing from Clackmannanshire since last May.
Kenneth Wessels, 61, was last seen leaving his home on Newbiggen Crescent, Tullibody, at around 4.45am on May 4, 2022.
Officers received a report of the body of a man being found in a wooded area near Forestmill, Alloa, at around 11.10am on January 23.
Formal identification is yet to take place, however police said that the family of Mr Wessels has been informed.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
