The body of a pensioner who had been missing for more than two weeks has been found next to an industrial estate in East Lothian.
Martin Sinnett was last seen in Thorntree Street in Leith, around 5.45pm on Monday, September 25.
Officers appealed for information on his whereabouts for the following two weeks.
The body of a 70-year-old man was discovered next to an industrial estate in Newhailes Road, Musselburgh, at around 2.55pm on Wednesday, October 11.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said on Thursday a body had been found and while it had not yet been formally identified, Mr Sinnett’s family had informed.
