Police are investigating a fire which broke out at an old football ground in Fife.

A blaze took hold of two derelict changing rooms, at the former home of Rosyth Juniors Football Club, around 9pm on Monday.

Three engines were sent to the scene on Admiralty Road, where the fire was extinguished.

Officers are now working to establish the cause of the fire.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 9.10pm on Monday, February 3, we were alerted to a report of a fire at Rosyth Junior Football Club in Admiralty Road in Rosyth.

“Officers attended along with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries.
