Members of the public are being asked for help in the search for a missing pensioner.
John Gray, 79, has been reported missing from the Leith area of Edinburgh.
He was last seen in the South Lorne Place area at around 8am on Saturday, July 30.
Mr Gray is described as being white, around 5ft 8in, of medium build and with short, white hair.
When last seen, he was wearing a blue fleece jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
Constable Stephen Henderson said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for John’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on his whereabouts, to contact police.
“Local officers are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace him.
“I would ask that anyone who believes they may have seen John, or who has any other information, contacts us on 101, quoting reference 0946 of Saturday, July 30, 2022.”
