An 18-year-old pedestrian has died following a crash in Fife.

The incident happened at Little Balquhomrie Farm on the outskirts of Leslie, near Glenrothes, on Friday morning.

An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called around 11.10am on Friday, 22 May, 2020, following the report of a one-vehicle road crash involving a car and pedestrian at Little Balquhomrie Farm, Glenrothes.

“Emergency services attended and an 18-year-old man who had suffered serious injuries was pronounced dead at the scene.

“An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
