A woman who died in a crash with a lorry has been formally identified.

Patricia McAuslan, 32, from Glasgow, was killed in the collision on the A701 near Parkgate, Dumfries and Galloway, on the evening of February 4.

Ms McAuslan died at the scene after her Ford Focus collided with a Scania HGV.

The 43-year-old lorry driver was uninjured in the crash.

A police spokeswoman said Ms McAuslan's relatives were aware of her death, and a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
