A body was found on a Highland beach early on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called at around 7.30am following reports of the discovery of a man on the beach at Nairn.
Police have confirmed that emergency services remain in attendance and enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30am on Thursday, 21 July, 2022 police received a report that a body of a man had been found on the beach at Nairn at Marine Road.
“Emergency services are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
