A tree was chopped down in Hampshire to aid the ‘re-mooval’ of a cow stuck between two sections of its trunk.
Firefighters were called in to rescue the animal around 7.40pm on Wednesday.
The large cow had managed to get its head thoroughly trapped between two sections of the trunk of a willow tree on Joys Lane in Chilbolton.
An animal rescue advisor in Stockbridge carried out the high-steaks operation, with help from Winchester’s animal rescue vehicle.
The entire process took almost over an hour, with an end signal being released at 9pm.
