Tesco issued a warning to customers urging them not to eat their own-brand Sandwich Pickle product.

Tesco has urged members of the public not to eat jars of its own-brand sandwich pickle over fears it may contain shards of glass.

The supermarket giant issued the warning via the Food Standards Agency (FSA) on Thursday.

The recall was issued due to the possible presence of glass making it “unsafe to eat”.

Customers who purchased the Tesco own-brand Sandwich Pickle 295g with the batch code 3254 and best before date September 11, 2025, have been advised not to eat the product.
