An urgent recall has been issued for Magnum ice creams over fears they are “unsafe to eat”.

Unilever, the company behind Magnum, issued an urgent warning on their Magnum Almond Ice Cream sticks (three pack) product via the Food Standards Agency (FSA) on Wednesday.

The recall was issued due to the possible presence of metal and plastic being found in some packs.

Customers who purchased the 3x100ml product with date codes best before end of December 2025 have been advised not to eat the ice creams and return the product to the store it was bought in for a full refund.

The notice also stated that any purchased boxes with batch codes L3338, L3339, L3340, L3341 and L3342 are to be returned to their point of purchase.

The notice read: “Unilever is recalling the above product.

“Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product.

“These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.”
