Jack Osbourne slams 'pathetic' Roger Waters over Ozzy Osbourne comments

Jack Osbourne has slammed Roger Waters after he made comments about the late Ozzy Osbourne in a recent interview.

The Pink Floyd co-founder spoke about how pop culture figures are used to distract from political issues on The Independent Ink podcast.

He said: “How can we push this to one side? I know how to do it! We’ll do it with Taylor Swift or bubble gum or Kim Kardashian’s bum.”

Rogers continued and turned his attention to the late Ozzy Osbourne saying he was all over TV with his “idiocy and nonsense”.

“Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life, we’ll never know. Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years, with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a fuck,” he said.

Waters continued: “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”

It comes just over a month after the Black Sabbath frontman died on July 22, at the age of 76.

In a statement, his family shared that he was “surrounded by love” at the time of his passing.

His death came weeks after he played a final live show in his hometown with Black Sabbath.

Osbourne’s son, Jack, also responded to the comments yesterday with a post shared on social media, calling Waters “out of touch” and “pathetic”.

“Hey Roger Waters. F**k you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you get attention these days is by vomiting out bull**** in the press,” the 39-year-old wrote.

“My father always thought you were a c*** – thanks for proving him right.”
