Donald Trump’s second state visit to the UK is underway and the Royal Family has made sure nothing but the best is on display for the US president and first lady.
The president landed in the UK on Tuesday night and flew to Windsor on Wednesday morning, when he was greeted by The Duke and Duchess of Wales.
The first couple were then treated to a display by the guard of honour in the grounds of Windsor Castle as they conversed with the King and Queen.
They then observed a Beating Retreat ceremony featuring military bands from both the US and UK.
It concluded with a flypast by RAF jets.
Windsor Castle and Windsor town are under heavy security during the visit, with a significant number of police seen walking the streets before the president’s arrival.
A number of protests against Trump’s visit have also taken place in Windsor on Wednesday, with demonstrators holding placards saying the president was not welcome in the UK.
Here’s a look at some of the best pictures of the visit.
