Getty ImagesEd Sheeran has announced two “intimate” UK shows as part of the European leg of his upcoming world tour.
The Shape Of You singer will only play two dates in the UK which will be held at small and more “intimate” venues in December this year.
In a post shared on social media, Sheeran said: “Coming to play some shows in Europe. These shows will be more intimate than a stadium show, obviously, but still will be incredible.”
The shows are set to take place at the Coventry Building Society Arena on December 5, and Manchester’s Co-op Live on December 7.
The run of dates will kick off at Paris’ Zenith on December 1, ahead of a show at Munich’s Olympiahalle on December 3.
Sheeran announced the first run of dates for the tour on Wednesday, ahead of the release of his new album Play which comes out on September 12.
How to get tickets
Fans who have pre-ordered his upcoming album will get access to pre-sale tickets.
For UK shows fans will need to pre-order on Amazon Music UK before 7pm BST on September 7.
For the pre-sale access to European dates, fans should pre-order the album on Sheeran’s official store before 3pm BST on September, 8.
Tickets for all shows will on general sale on September 11 at 10am via Ticketmaster.
