Trump could have Prince Harry 'removed' from America, lawyer claims

Harry, the Duke of Sussex, left the United Kingdom in 2020 with his wife the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle to live in America.

Donald Trump could have Prince Harry “removed” from America, according to claims by a lawyer in California.

The Republican nominee defeated Democratic candidate Kamala Harris to become the 47th President of the US on Wednesday – his second administration in the Oval Office.

According to California family lawyer Alphonse Provinziano, Trump has made it “quite clear” he would seek to have Harry removed if he returned to office.

Harry, the Duke of Sussex, left the United Kingdom in 2020 with his wife the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle to live in America.

Provinziano believes Harry was “shielded” by the current President Joe Biden’s administration.

He said: “Prince Harry’s lawyers will be busy over the next four years, as Trump has made it quite clear that if he returned to office, he would seek to have Harry removed from the country.

“The Biden administration had shielded Harry, and a lawsuit by the Heritage Foundation seeking more information was dismissed, but Trump may have the upper hand if it turns out that Harry was not forthcoming about his past drug use on his visa application, although he’s admitted it in his autobiography and various interviews over the years.”

Harry, who now lives in California visited the UK earlier this year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Before that he had visited again to see his father, King Charles III, soon after he made public his cancer diagnosis.

He had previously told an ITV documentary that he “won’t bring” his wife, Meghan Markle, back to the UK over fears that negative tabloid narratives could lead to a knife or acid attack against her.
