Sir David and Victoria Beckham have wished their son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham a happy birthday, in what is the first time the couple has publicly engaged with their son since he made a host of allegations against them.
The former England footballer and Spice Girl shared three separate photos on Instagram to mark their son’s 27th birthday.
David shared two photographs, the first of himself, Victoria, and a young Brooklyn in a pool, with a caption that said “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you.”

Victoria also shared two photographs on her Instagram story, including one that was captioned: “Happy Birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.”
The couple did not tag Brooklyn in the posts.
In January, following months of rumours, Brooklyn launched a lengthy attack on both his parents in an Instagram post, accusing them of controlling behaviour, putting “brand Beckham” before all else, and trying to “endlessly ruin” his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham on several occasions.

Specifically, he addressed the allegation that Peltz had refused to wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria, with Brooklyn claiming it was Victoria who pulled out of the arrangement at the last minute, forcing Peltz to find something else to wear.
Brooklyn accused his mother of dancing “very inappropriately” with him at his wedding, adding that he had “never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life”.
However, this has been disputed by some guests. DJ Fat Tony told ITV that the dance was “awkward”, but the biggest upset came from Marc Anthony calling Victoria Beckham the most beautiful woman in the room instead of the bride.
Marc Anthony has said the way the feud has played out is “hardly the truth”.

Brooklyn also accused his parents of trying to “bribe” him into signing the rights to his name away, and after he held out, “they have never treated me the same since”.
The Beckham’s eldest son said he did not want to reconcile with his parents, and that he was “standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
David and Victoria have not responded directly to the statement, and neither have their other children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
