Adult content creator Bonnie Blue will be deported from Bali and banned from visiting the island for at least a decade, according to reports.
The controversial adult star had initially been arrested for allegedly filming adult content in the country, which has strict anti-pornography laws.
Pornography is illegal in Indonesia, where the maximum sentence for the production or distribution of pornographic content is up to 15 years in prison and fines of up to 6 billion rupiah (approximately £270,000).
However, an investigation by police and immigration officials uncovered no evidence that Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, had breached the strict anti-pornography rules.
Authorities have, however, alleged that she has filmed other commercial content without the correct visa and broken traffic laws.
At a press conference, Bali’s Immigration Chief Winarko said Ms Billinger had been working as a “content creator” on a tourist visa.
“The activities they carried out contained pornographic elements, whereas here in Bali we expect tourists who come to support culture and uphold local wisdom,” he said.
“The next step is that we wait for the chief of police to complete their process … after that, we will immediately take firm action by deporting them and imposing a re-entry ban.”
Ms Billinger, along with two other British nationals and an Australian man, will be charged under Indonesia’s traffic laws.
“While they were supposedly [on] holiday in Bali, they misused their visas by creating content and driving a vehicle without the proper licence,” Badung’s Police Chief Arif Batubara said.
The 26-year-old caught the eye of police in Bali, travelling around the holiday destination in a blue pick-up truck emblazoned with “Bangbus” and was arrested in a raid last week.
She will face a district court in Denpasar on Friday before she is deported with three members of her crew. They were treated as witnesses and will have no charges laid against them, Badung’s police chief said.
The 26-year-old, from Nottingham, achieved viral fame in 2024 after claiming that she had slept with more than 1,000 men in 12 hours.
Her methods of inviting non-professionals to create adult content with her for free sparked controversy, with critics accusing her of predatory behaviour towards young men and perpetuating misogynistic ideology.
