A woman’s death is being treated as suspicious after her body was discovered in a flat in Glasgow.

Police were called to Cumlodden Drive, Maryhill, at around 5.25pm on Tuesday, where they found the 54-year-old’s body.

A post-mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of death which officers are treating as suspicious.

Police remain at scene as the investigation continues.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.25 pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, officers were called to an address in Cumlodden Drive, Maryhill, Glasgow, where the body of a 54-year-old woman was found.

“A post mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the cause of her death, however, at this time her death is being treated as suspicious

“Enquires are continuing. A police presence remains in the area.”
