A major search operation involving police, ambulance crews, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was launched on Friday night after a woman was reported to be in difficulty in the water at around 10.45pm.
Water searches were carried out.
The body of a woman was recovered around 11.45am on Saturday, July 11.
Officers say the death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.45pm on Friday, July 10, 2026, we received a report of a woman in difficulty in the water at Falls of Falloch, Crianlarich.
“Emergency services attended and water searches were carried out.
“Around 11.45am on Saturday, July 11, 2026, the body of a woman was recovered.
“Her next of kin have been made aware.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained, but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.”
