A woman who left a home in Clydebank in the middle of the night has been traced.
Alison Purcell was reported missing after she was last seen at an address on North Elgin Street during the evening of September 9.
The 54-year-old was believed to have left the address overnight in a silver Seat Ibiza, heading towards Glasgow.
The vehicle is understood to have travelled eastbound along Dumbarton Road towards Glasgow and was last seen on Balshagray Avenue shortly before 3am on Wednesday.
Police issued an appeal to the public in a bid to trace the 54-year-old.
Officers later confirmed Ms Purcell was traced on Wednesday and the public were thanked for their assistance.
