Police are looking to trace a woman in connection with a racist incident that took place near Ibrox Park on the day Rangers were awarded the Premiership trophy.

Officers investigating the incident believe the woman may be able to assist them with their enquires.

Thousands of fans took to Ibrox and the city centre on Saturday May,15 for the celebrations that soon turned to widespread violence and disorder.

Thirty people have already been arrested in connection with the incident and police say that ‘it is only the beginning’ as they look to catch everyone responsible.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact us via telephone number 101.

“Information can also be submitted via this link: https://mipp.police.uk/operation/SCOT21S14-PO1.

“Anyone sending information can choose to remain anonymous.”
