A woman was taken to hospital after an attempted robbery at an Aldi supermarket in Glasgow.
Police were called to the scene on Paisley Road West around 8.30pm on Saturday.
A 42-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in the city following the incident and was later released.
Officers confirmed a 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and that enquiries were ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30pm on Saturday, March 4, we were called to a report of an attempted robbery at a premises on Paisley Road West, Glasgow.
“A 42-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
“A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
