A woman has been taken to hospital after she was struck by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Great Western Road in Anniesland at around 7.45am on Wednesday.
A woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, however her condition is unknown.
The road was closed to allow for investigations to be carried out. It has since been reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.45am on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a female pedestrian on Great Western Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed to allow enquiries to be carried out and has re-opened.”
