A woman in her 50s was struck by a car on Paisley's Nethercraigs Road on Thursday morning.

A woman has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Paisley.

Emergency services were called to Nethercraigs Road at around 8.45am on Thursday.

The woman, who is in her 50s, was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital.

Her current condition is unknown at this stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45am on Thursday, December 7, police were called to a report of a woman struck by a vehicle on Nethercraigs Road, Paisley.

“Officers attended and the woman in her 50s was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital.”
