A woman has been taken to hospital after being rescued from the water.
Police Scotland were called to Castlecary in North Lanarkshire on Thursday after reports that someone had fallen into the water.
A spokeswoman said: “Around 3.40pm on Thursday 11 June, police were made aware of a female falling into water at Walton Burn, near Castlecary.
“Emergency services attended and the female was recovered and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
The woman’s condition is not known.
