Pedestrian taken to hospital after being hit by bus as road closed

A road has been closed in Glasgow after a pedestrian was struck by a bus.

Police Scotland were called to Barrhead Road at around 3.50pm on Monday after a female pedestrian was knocked down.

Her condition is unknown.

Emergency services remain in attendance, and road closures have been put in place between Boydstone Road and Kennishead Road.

Drivers are being asked to use alternative routes.
