Police launch appeal after a woman was seriously injured in a three-vehicle road crash.

The incident happened on the northbound carriageway of the A725 in Hamilton on Monday, November 27.

Emergency services were alerted at around 10.20am when a white Mercedes van, a green Kia Picanto and a white Hyundai Kona were involved in a crash near to Hamilton Technology Park, Hamilton.

Police confirmed the driver of the Hyundai Kona was taken to University Hospital Wishaw but has since been discharged.

The driver of the Mercedes van was not injured.

Sergeant Andrew Coutts, Road Policing Unit, said: “Whilst a number of people have come forward with information about the crash, we are still keen to hear from anyone else who witnessed what happened, or who may have dashcam footage of the incident.

“Details can be passed to officers via 101. Please quote reference number 0854 of Monday, November 27, 2023, when calling.”
