A woman has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash caused the closure of the M80 motorway in one direction.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the southbound carriageway near Junction 2 at around 12.05pm on Thursday.
One woman was taken to hospital as a result of the crash, Police Scotland said.
Her condition is currently unknown.
The southbound carriageway of the motorway was restricted for just under an hour before being reopened.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Police were called around 12.05pm on Thursday, August 25, to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the M80 southbound near J2.
“One woman has been taken to hospital to be checked over.”
