A woman has been taken to hospital after she was struck by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian on Campsie Road at around 7am on Wednesday.
The female pedestrian was taken to hospital by ambulance, where her condition is currently unknown.
The road was closed for more than five hours, and reopened at around 12.40pm.
Police Scotland said enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the force said: ”We received a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Campsie Road, Glasgow around 7am on Wednesday, June 7.
“One woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance.
“The road re-opened around 12.40pm and enquiries are ongoing.”
