A young woman has been sexually assaulted after being harassed by three men at a Glasgow train station.

The 21-year-old was at Priesthill and Darnley station when she was approached by the gang at around 6pm on Thursday.

One of the group demanded her phone number before grabbing and forcibly kissing her when she refused.

The victim, who was uninjured but left shaken, was wearing a face-mask at the time of the assault, however her assailant was not.

She managed to push her attacker off and contacted the police who are now looking to trace those responsible.

The suspects are described as being short and aged around 20, 18 and 14-years-old.

A spokeswoman for the British Transport Police confirmed they are investigating the incident, which they are treating as a sexual assault.
