A woman was taken to hospital after being found injured near a busy funfair in Glasgow on New Year’s Day.
The incident occurred at the Congress Road car park near to the Irn Bru Carnival at the SEC on Monday afternoon.
The woman was taken to hospital for further treatment, though the nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
The force confirmed that an investigation has been launched to establish the full circumstances of the event.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Monday, January 1, 2024, we were made aware that woman had earlier been found injured in the Congress Road area of Glasgow.
“She was taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
