A woman has died following an incident at a subway station in Glasgow.
Glasgow Subway closed Bridge Street station to passengers and services around 1.30pm on Thursday due to a “passenger-related incident”.
Emergency services were called to the station, and a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a medical incident at around 1.30pm on Thursday at Bridge Street subway station, Glasgow.
“Officers attended alongside paramedics; unfortunately, a lady was pronounced deceased.”
An SAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12:39 to attend an incident at Bridge Street Station, Glasgow. We dispatched two ambulances and one critical care paramedic (CCP) to the scene.”
