A woman has died after a fire broke out in a flat in Glasgow.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Old Dumbarton Road at around 8.15pm on Thursday evening.
A woman was found to have died following the blaze and residents were evacuated from the building.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.15pm on Thursday December 10, officers in Glasgow received a report of a fire within a property on Old Dumbarton Road.
“Emergency services attended and a woman was found to have died. Residents from the building were evacuated.
“There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances and enquiries are ongoing.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
