Woman charged over 'ill-treatment' of care home residents 

Police confirmed a 30-year-old woman was charged in connection with the ill-treatment of residents at a care home in Lennoxtown.

A woman has been charged in connection with “ill-treatment” of residents at a care home in East Dunbartonshire.

Police confirmed a 30-year-old woman was charged in connection with the ill-treatment of residents at a care home in Lennoxtown.

The incident was first reported to police in November 2024.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, police said.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 30-year-old woman was charged in connection with the ill-treatment of residents at a care home in Lennoxtown, which was reported to police in November, 2024.

“A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
