Woman, 49, charged after man 'stabbed' at property

Police were called to reports of a seriously injured man at a home in Glasgow on Thursday morning.

A woman has been charged after a man was allegedly stabbed at a property in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the home on Huntingtower Road around 7.30am on Thursday following reports of a seriously injured man.

The 48-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Officers charged a 49-year-old woman in connection with the attack. She is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30am on Thursday, September 11, 2025, we were called to a report of a 48-year-old man seriously injured within a property on Huntingtower Road, Glasgow.

“Officers attended and he was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

” A 49-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. She is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, September 15, 2025.”
