A woman has been charged after two children were hurt in an XL bully attack in East Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called to Holmhead Crescent in Logan around 7pm on Wednesday evening following reports that a dog had attacked three children.
Two of the children suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack.
The XL bully was seized by officers and a woman was charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a dog having attacked three children in the Holmhead Crescent area of Logan around 7.10pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
“Two ten-year-old children sustained minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.
“The dog has been seized and a 34-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
