A woman has been charged after three dogs were found dead inside a home in Annan.
Emergency services were called to a property on Muirbeck Road in the Newbie area at around 7.40pm on Wednesday following reports of concern for the pets.
Officers attended and found that all three dogs had died inside.
A 37-year-old woman was charged in connection with animal welfare offences.
She is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court at a later date.
