A woman has been charged after a pedestrian and three children were hit by a car in South Lanarkshire.
The incident occurred around 3.10pm on James Street, Carluke on Wednesday October 27.
The female pedestrian and one child sustained serious injuries following the crash and were taken to hospital alongside two other children, who suffered minor injuries.
A 50-year-old woman has been charged in connection with road traffic offences following the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 50-year-old woman has been charged in connection with road traffic offences following a crash on James Street, Carluke on October 27.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
